biography.
an artist and an alchemist, once bored of the cyclical cycle of thavnair's trade and his own personal struggles of narcolepsy, spending more time trapped in a dreaming world than remaining awake despite learning his trade of alchemy. khada sought inspiration for his art, willing to bend the rules of life and tonics if only to save his own sanity and find a spark of life in an otherwise mundane world.
he found an answer wish through unconventional means, within the valleys of blood and the caresses of roses - but only for a moment, before it shattered as all dreams do - when he woke to an unfulfilling reality.
still troubled by his dreamless sleep, khada seeks a solution to his lethargy by studying alchemy and looks to find inspiration for his greatest masterpieces, often at the precipice of a last breath's kiss...

alchemist.
an alchemist by trade, trained in thavnair, khada specializes in tonics of any kind, specifically poisons and perfumes. he's a bit of a creative, often weaving together standard alchemy and aetherical constructions to brew anything short of a miracle, a miracle that cannot seem to cure his own perpetual sleepiness, and often works for an incredibly low fee. need medicine that can't be garnered anywhere else? khada may be willing to lend a hand - for a price.
the marks of his own alchemy can be found in the pendant he wears around his neck.
an endless dream.
unfortunately plagued by constant narcolepsy, khada has difficulty remaining awake, often seeming rather lethargic at the best of times and dozing at other times. he's actively seeking solutions for this, unable to find a reason through conventional means - for now, he manages through alchemical tonics.
an art most beautiful.
a painter by nature, khada finds joy in creating all sorts of fine artworks and is often seen carrying his sketchbook around. hungry for any sort of inspiration, khada is picky in what he creates, often drawn to people and nature, enjoying capturing people in motion.
his best masterpieces, however, come from his murders, and he's always searching for another job...
illusions of all colors.
an unusual art - khada is blessed with the ability to create illusions of any imagination, so realistic that they are nearly imperceptible from reality, except they cannot interact properly with physical space. a knife may shine, cut, and bleed - but only by touching the mind. and all are tainted with a hint of an echoing poison. how he paints such art is a secret he tells nearly no one.
the virtuoso.
an infamous serial killer known as "the virtuoso" or by his moniker saryn, khada is the unknown mastermind behind a series of serial killings that tend to originate in gridania and ishgard, with the key ingredient being an unknown poison lacking an antidote and the artistic presentation of illusionary roses and other flora of the bodies, before the illusion breaks, leaving behind a grotesque scene. khada often sketches an artistic representation of the murders, referring to them as his "lovers" - and he claims that he is sometimes a private investigator to cover up his crimes.
he will take on jobs for a fee - especially if they interest him, his illusionary magics making it especially difficult to track his methodology.
hobbies.
a fan of theatre and movies, khada delights in the fine arts, exquisite food, and other fineries. he also has a soft spot for soothsayers and occult happenings and will spare extra change for a performer or two.
